"Great Place to Stay."
We stayed at the Sheraton at the beginning of November. When traveling, we normally do not stay at chain hotels but choose local accommodations. This trip, the location and rates seemed attractive so we took a chance. It was well worth it.
Everything from the room to the food was first rate. We had a room overlooking the castle and to return at night after a day of sightseeing and enjoy a scotch while comtemplating the history we are looking at was priceless. The castle at night, all lit up...well you have to see it to understand.
The staff could not have been more accommodating. They put to rest the theory that a chain hotel is impersonal. My partner and I both work in management in hotels in New York City and would recommend the Sheraton without hesitation.

"Excellent Spa - reasonable food"
This Hotel is in an excellent location and good views of the castle are availalbe in certain rooms. The Spa facility is excellent, I would say one of the best in europe at a Hotel. The food in the hotel is reasonable although I would say you would be better going out to somewhere like the The Tower.
