Links Hotel is located in central Edinburgh at the edge of Bruntsfield Links, a beautiful stretch of parkland within the city centre and with mature trees and a rich history. Bruntsfield Links is home to the oldest short-hole golf course in the world, with records detailing play in the early 17th century, not only a must see for the passionate golfer.

The Links Hotel & Bar is situated less than ten minutes by bus to Princes Street and is linked to the heart of the old town by The Meadows Park, quite literally making easy access to all of Edinburgh's major attractions literally just a walk in the park.

The hotel comprises of three adjoining town house properties of traditional design which have been renovated and modernised to create a hotel which offers 26 bedrooms of a 3* standard. All rooms benefit from conveniences such as en-suite bathrooms, televisions and Tea & Coffee making facilities with many larger rooms commanding views across Bruntsfield Links.

Upon arrival to the hotel you will be greeted at reception by friendly staff who will do their utmost to ensure your stay is relaxed and enjoyable.

Please note that the hotel complies with the smoking restrictions in the city and is Non smoking.

LOCATION

Superb public transport links service Links Hotel with several main bus services into the heart of the city passing the hotel and with Haymarket Train Station less than 1.2 miles away and Edinburgh Airport only 7.8 miles away all travel connections are quick and easy.

Local attractions include Edinburgh Castle, Princes Street, The Royal Mile and Holyrood Palace. All can be easily reached by the excellent public transport system, or if walking approximately 20 mins.

* The Links Bar:

The popular Links Bar boasts live sports coverage and always lives up to its motto, if it's on, its on here! Inside the bar has a refined, modern appeal with a strong sporting influence, spacious seating areas and a large games room, whilst outside has a large heated and covered beer garden. The bar is open from 9am to 1am and full food service is available throughout the day and evening with an extensive bar menu on offer. In the morning a full Scottish cooked breakfast and continental selection are served on the ground floor, a space which oozes character with high ceilings, large bay windows and views to the front of the property.

* The Lounge:

If you are looking for somewhere to relax and take in the surroundings, the lounge is ideal. Adjacent to the bar, the lounge offers large couches to relax on while you read the paper or decide which tour to take around the city!

* Games room with Pool Table:

In the summer, enjoy dining outside in the hotels own beer garden which is open for both guests and non residents.

* Car parking is not available at the hotel. The nearest NCP car park is located 15 mins walk from the hotel on Castle Terrace. Over night car parking rates are available .

* For the Business Traveller, the hotel can provide on request.
