Gillis Centre is situated near the city centre in peaceful grounds offering Conference and residential facilities. Meeting rooms are also available for hire on a daily basis and individuals are welcome to use bed & breakfast facilities.

Gillis Centre is open 7 days a week, 50 weeks a year, closing during the Christmas and New year period.

Gillis is a historic house near the city centre. Gillis is within walking distance of shops, restuarants and pubs, cinemas and theatre. There is a good bus service to Princes Street and the Royal Mile. Blackford Hill is nearby with walks and unrivalled views.

* There are 5 meeting rooms holding between 16 - 140 people providing flexible space for meetings and conferences. All meeting rooms are provided with TV/Video, OHP, Screen and Flip Chart.

* Gillis Centre's large garden,with its apple trees, offers complete tranquility. Gillis is within walking distance of shops, restuarants and pubs, cinemas and theatre. There is a good bus service to Princes Street and the Royal Mile. Blackford Hill is nearby with walks and unrivalled views.

* Meals can be provided for groups.Gillis Centre is strictly no smoking.A grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund provided improved accees with external/ internal ramps and a lift leading to a twin bedded wheelchair assisted bedroom.Four of the meeting rooms are accessible to people with disabilities.

* 18 bedrooms are ensuite,2 have private bathrooms.

* Gillis Centre has singles, doubles, twins and family rooms. One twin room is assisted wheelchair accessible.

* All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities.

CANCELLATION POLICY

1. No penalty for cancellations up to the defined cancellation deadline of this hotel.
2. Cancellations made within the cancellation deadline will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
3. No-shows will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
4. No cancellations on or after check-in date.
